We have one of these assholes who works at one of our neighboring store locations who comes in every month to buy all of our stock of Pokémon cards after he buys all the ones at his store.

Now fine I know I can't prove that he's one of the pieces of shit that puts them on ebay for 10X the price but that doesn't change the fact that he's been walking out every month with every box meaning nobody else gets any and management doesn't care as long as they sell then they couldn't care less is these cards go to 100 people or all to one.

So I started keeping them under my register to hide them from him so that everyone else can get a fair shot at getting some and many of my coworkers have been helping me in this mission but I came in today after my day off to find them all gone at once because now he's figured out that he can use door dash to buy them off of our website, circumventing the limits that we've been putting in place. The ONLY plus side to that is at the VERY LEAST he doesn't get his employee discount so he paid the full price for every box

It's actually disgusting.

I only ever buy single packs, buying a pack of cards (sometimes two) when I get my paycheck and sitting in the store's vestibule to open them was one of my de-stress past times but it's gotten harder and harder to do that nowadays because of people like this.

I haven't been to the Avenues mall in a year since it's pretty far out of my way so when they opened a new Arcade in it, I didn't immediately go check it out but I wish I had sooner because it's a genuinely nice Arcade!

The top 100 finalists for this years Pokemon TCG Illustration Contest have been posted and I am not among them.

They caught and disqualified the cheaters who used ai for their entries and I THOUGHT that meant that they were going to go back and edit the top 300 list to remove the ai cheats and give those slots to actual Artists instead but they didn't bother and I'm not gonna lie, that kinda hurts.

I can live with the fact that I didn't make the top 300 if I truly didn't make it, I didn't make it last year either(and it hurt then too) but there was a chance that I could have at least gotten top 300(probably not but the possibility is there) and I'll never know because a bunch of cheaters made the ranks and that's what they are, fuckin cheaters.

I'm a digital Artist, I often sketch out my ideas on paper and then I'll draw over my Sketches and Doodles on my computer and I use the various tools available in Gimp to do my art but I will never use ai to do the work for me, that's disgusting.

I don't use DeviantArt for my Art as much anymore since I didn't like the site's redesign but I still use the scraps folder to archive most of my Sketches and Doodles and I post some of my bigger pieces over there after I upload them here but I've noticed a bigger problem than their redesign and that just how relaxed they are about people posting and selling ai art.

Every time I load up DA the first thing I see is people selling adoptables made with ai yesterday is was an anthro Fluttershy. It was not over stylised or a parody of Fluttershy just a straight up anthro Fluttershy that the user had up for sale as an adoptable and today when I signed in the first thing I saw was an ai made fox adoptable and the ironic thing was that the user had a watermark on it to prevent people from stealing it.....
