As some of you may know I made a Little Library and it's been slow but it's started to get more attention with a few people donating books to it and I'm so thankful for that.
But I came home from work tonight to find this in there. It's not just books I've been putting my leftover Halloween candy in there to get rid of the last bucket that didn't get given away on Halloween (I put a fistful in there almost every day before work and when I get home it's always empty and I HOPE it's multiple kids getting it and not just one kid pocketing it all but I can't say for sure)
I've also been putting a few little plushies in there for the kids to take, I visit the various thrift shops a lot usually looking for VideoGames and lately I've been seeing a lot of small plushies and I thought it would be nice to start putting some in there but I come home from work tonight to find one of the plushies soaking wet with the head ripped off and they just put it back in the box like that.

Like I said it's been slow but I've started to see people actually use it, I check it every night when I get home and I've noticed a few books taken and I've even started to see a few books donated so there are people who seem to appreciate it.
I don't regret putting it together at all, I'm proud of it and I like that our neighborhood has one now, I'm just bothered by the fact that someone would do this for no reason other than to be a bastard.
A movie quote that I feel sums it up is the mayor from the Jim Kerry Grinch movie where he looks at Cindy Loo Hoo after the Grinch ruins the festival and says "I'm hurt, and I don't hurt easily".
